GOD’S WORD Translation

⁸⁵ Arrogant people have dug pits to trap me
in defiance of your teachings.
⁸⁶ (All your commandments are reliable.)
Those people persecute me with lies. Help me!
⁸⁷ They almost wiped me off ⌞the face of⌟ the earth.
But I did not abandon your guiding principles.
